Letter to the editor: Trump, Musk the good guys trying to end waste, fraud, abuse

Tribune-Review

Waste, fraud and abuse in government are pretty much an accepted fact. People often use humor to soften their disgust and resentment of the obscene and absurd spending. Presidents Obama and Biden and others have promised but failed to address it. President Trump is actually trying.

The one person possibly most qualified to help, based on his proven track record, is Elon Musk. He, like Trump, is a patriot, has taken on the challenge and is accepting no compensation.

Musk and his team have uncovered many hundreds of billions of dollars of waste, fraud and abuse. This has strangely drawn the wrath of Democrats. Why? Has some of this money been making its way back to them via donations? They have been demonstrating ungodly and diabolical hatred and rage toward Trump and Musk. Their domestic terrorism against Tesla is not only hurting Musk, but also innocent Tesla builders, dealers and owners.

By their words, deeds and lawsuits, I think Democrats are saying they approve of the waste, fraud and abuse, and do not want bloodthirsty gang members deported. And I’m amazed at how many misguided letter-writers agree. They demonstrate vividly the effectiveness of the propaganda and persuasion being disseminated by the Democratic Party and their media partners.

Lori Falce’s column “Calling everything fraud doesn’t make it so” (March 14, TribLive) subtly and, I think, deceitfully minimizing and belittling Trump and Musk for misusing the word fraud, is an example of the manipulation. Impressionable people are sadly being convinced that the good guys exposing the waste, fraud and abuse are the bad guys.
