Until very recently I was on the fence regarding this “supply chain” crisis.

My friends on the political left told me there wasn’t one, that this is all part of the Christmas gift-buying season. They hedged by saying if there was one, it is the fault of Donald Trump.

On the political right I was hearing that they were unable to get the things they needed, including groceries. The UPMC lab tells me my triglycerides are still up, so I’m getting the meat and dairy fats that keep it that way.

So what is the real answer to this question?

The other day I went to Sheetz and while kiosking my order read something to the effect of “The supply crisis is real, we may not have some of the favorites you usually order.” Thankfully I was able to get my hot dogs with both mustard and sauerkraut, so I didn’t take it personally. But with an authority like Sheetz, I must agree that yes, Virginia, there is a supply crisis.
