I have been a member of the Republican Party for many years and I have been glad to support the party of Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. and George W. Bush, and locally William R. Davis and Dick Thornburgh.

But the party has been taken over by a twice-impeached man who I believe is a white nationalist fascist. At the Conservative Political Action Conference, Donald Trump served as the keynote speaker, even though many believe he is responsible for initiating a coup to destroy our government.

The Republican Party needs its vocal minority led by Sens. Mitt Romney and Pat Toomey and others to create a true Republican Party.
