I’m responding to Edward Svitek’s letter “Past time to dump Trump” (Oct. 4, TribLIVE), in which he admits he hates Donald Trump. He gave broad, vague reasons. With hate being such a destructive emotional choice, I was wondering what exactly brought out his hatred. Was it a strong economy? Record low unemployment in the American minority population? Perhaps it was our energy independence. I mean, who doesn’t hate $2 a gallon gas? Was it the peace accords in the Middle East, or the U.S. not getting involved in any new military conflicts?
I could go on, but I’m pretty sure I know the reason. Donald Trump isn’t a Democrat.
