I didn’t see hate in the letter “Trump’s your guy” (Jan. 15, TribLive). I saw a letter listing very succinctly all the many reasons why President Trump should not be our guy.
The letter “Trump’s my guy” (Jan. 25, TribLive) says we should look past the “foibles” of Trump. I have to admit, I had to look up the word. The dictionary says foibles means minor flaws or eccentricities in one’s character. If you think leading an insurrection on our Capitol and being the only president in the history of our country who did not adhere to a peaceful transfer of power, then I guess Trump is your guy.
As far as the ex-president loving America and being a loyal patriot, I will only say this: Trump loves and is only loyal to one thing, and that is Trump. If you believe otherwise, I feel sorry for you. All you good-hearted people out there who feel the same, please vote against this man so we may never have to hear from him again.
