Letter to the editor: Let’s not get too optimistic, Democrats

Well, it’s a week after the midterms, and it appears the GOP might just have recovered from their Trump-induced psychosis. It should be a hoot to watch President Trump and Florida Gov. Ron Desantis go at it.

The Democrats seem to be crowing a bit too much, though. Last Tuesday’s “Morning Joe” could have been produced by Sergei Eisenstein, complete with live audience applause. It’s a wonder Vice President Kamala Harris didn’t issue T-shirts.

Then President Joe Biden got trotted out before the press to do a victory lap and was sounding OK until he had a flashback to Fallujah. He corrected it to Kherson, but you could tell he hadn’t had his nap and wasn’t ready for foreign policy. It’s kinda like they’re putting party over country, just like the GOP has been.

I guess maybe I shouldn’t be so optimistic.

P.S. Will the Democrats please quit spamming my email asking for money?
