We have seen this show before. The Jan. 6 committee hearings remind me of the old TV series “Twin Peaks.” “Twin Peaks” was a show with a feckless investigation in search of a crime with no real beginning, ending or plot, and flashbacks, daydreams and dead ends.
And just like “Twin Peaks,” the Jan. 6 committee has its own feckless investigator in the form of “I have the proof” Adam Schiff. The Kafkaesque committee even brought in a TV producer to help them try to create an audience and plot. The committee, like “Twin Peaks,” even has its own strange “log lady” who apparently gets information by communing with a log — Liz Cheney!
What a show. With the best efforts of the puppet media, I don’t think anybody is watching.
