The same misinformation being believed by some patients nationally is prevalent at home, too. They read in their trusted local newspaper slanted information which causes a thinking person to question what is going on.

The article “’You can’t fix it with facts’: Doctors share patients’ excuses for covid vaccine refusal” (Oct. 17, TribLIVE) stated: “Some people have requested ivermectin, the horse dewormer, despite there being no research to support its use in treating covid-19, (Dr. Amy Crawford-Faucher) said.”

Ivermectin has been safely used for human treatments for years, and won its inventor a Nobel Prize. Studies have shown improvements in covid-19 patients who used the form of Ivermectin intended for human use early in their treatment.
