Speaking of an extended vacation from reality, I want to thank the author of the letter “Biden’s energy stance” (July 23, TribLIVE) for the reveal of where I can get “the real news.”

Concerning his feigned umbrage at “Faux News” Tucker Carlson’s (silence?) on Alaska oil leases and the ConocoPhilips Willow Project: On the former, is it possible the Trump energy surge had an impact? On the latter — environmentalists’ Willow Project objection: the irreparable harm to polar bears? Good God, here we go again!

Bear crisis true story: My Texas vacation’s mode of transport, driving a Ford FX4. Back then, I penned a letter to President Obama and his lame sidekick Joe Biden, confessing with documented fuel receipts of consuming 159 gallons of fuel. Using the AlGore-ithm translating carbon emitted to kill ratio: 1.085 polar bears killed and a sea rise level of 0.0002785 inches for my Texas vacation indulgence.

Funny thing, though: In the interim time, the Alaskan polar bear population has exploded to the extent that in some areas, you better carry a rifle whilst walking about.

If a loyal Democrat, you have a self-imposed limit of three round clips. Republican? You walk around with whatever the hell size clip you want; you see, charging polar bears don’t count. I will ask Tucker Carlson to air my story.
