While all the liberals are crying about the raids on the two Emiliano’s restaurants last week, my question is, why weren’t the owners arrested and thrown in jail for harboring known criminals and for human trafficking? My guess is they knew when they hired these people that they were illegal immigrants, but they wanted to save a few bucks by not hiring American workers.
And before anyone starts whining that they aren’t criminals, yes they are. They became criminals the second they snuck across the Rio Grande River and their big toe hit American soil.
Homeland Security needs to start cracking down on and levying heavy fines and/or jail time on any employers that hire illegals. That would go a long way to solving the problem.
