Watch: SpaceX ready for historic launch
SpaceX will try again today to make a historic launch.
Liftoff of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled for 3:22 p.m. from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Fla. It would be the first launch from the U.S. with NASA astronauts in nearly a decade, according to the Associated Press.
Astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley will be onboard the spacecraft. Their destination is the International Space Station, which is a 19-hour flight.
If successful, SpaceX would be the first private company to launch NASA astronauts.

The original launch, planned for Wednesday, was postponed because of stormy weather.
According to SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk, weather cancellation could be a reality again.
