Finding a job can be hard. But starting the application process just got a whole lot easier for McDonald’s.
As of Wednesday, the fast food chain will now let job seekers begin the process by using Alexa or Google Assistant, according to the Associated Press.
To get things going, users can ask their respective virtual assistant to “help me get a job at McDonald’s” or “talk to McDonald’s Apply Thru,” per Engadget.
The job seeker will be asked some basic information questions and then be given a link to continue the application.
The Associated Press reports the function is available in the United States, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. It’s not yet available through Apple’s Siri.
Applications by voice, called McDonald’s Apply Thru, are part of a larger effort to use technology to streamline all aspects of the restaurant, McDonald’s executive vice president and chief people officer David Fairhurst told the Associated Press.
