Marilyn Manson, here in concert Aug. 2, 2015, in Camden, N.J., turned himself in to police Friday on an outstanding warrant for alleged assault.

Marilyn Manson turned himself in to police in Los Angeles Friday to answer his outstanding warrant for alleged assault in New Hampshire, officials confirmed Thursday.

The shock rocker, whose legal name is Brian H. Warner, was wanted by police in the quaint New England town of Gilford for allegedly spitting on a female videographer during a concert at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in August 2019.

“Mr. Warner was processed and released on personal recognizance bail,” Gilford Police Chief Anthony Bean Burpee said in a statement to the Daily News.

Witnesses previously said Manson spit on the videographer’s camera multiple times during the pre-COVID concert, local station WMUR-9 reported.

Manson was released Friday on the condition that he appear in person or through a lawyer at an upcoming arraignment at the 4th Circuit Court in Laconia, New Hampshire, expected to take place next month.

He also must advise the court in writing of any changes to his California address and have no contact with the alleged victim.

Manson’s New Hampshire lawyer Kent M. Barker did not immediately respond to a request for comment Thursday.

Another lawyer for the musician, Howard King, has called the assault allegations against Manson “ridiculous.”

“It is no secret to anyone who has attended a Marilyn Manson concert that he likes to be provocative on stage, especially in front of a camera,” King reportedly said.

“This misdemeanor claim was pursued after we received a demand from a venue videographer for more than $35,000 after a small amount of spit came into contact with their arm. After we asked for evidence of any alleged damages, we never received a reply,” he added.

Manson also is being sued by several women for sexual assault.
