Ear bandages are now in style for the Republican Party — following the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump during his campaign rally Saturday in Butler County.
The shooting left Trump with a white square bandage on his right ear after he was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital, and the fashion trend has caught on with Trump supporters.
Several could be seen wearing bandages on their ears during the third night of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisc., the BBC reported.
Arizona delegation members said they were wearing the bandages in solidarity with the former president after he survived the assassination attempt, according to the BBC.

One supporter said she had bandaged her own ear to help Trump “set a new fashion statement” and to let him know “how much we love him,” the BBC said.
Delegate Michael Schafer, sporting a bandage taped to his right ear, said the trend was not quite the same as the ubiquitous red “Make America Great Again” hat.
“I think it’s something that’s of the moment,” he told Reuters.
Ray Michaels, an Arizona delegate, told the Associated Press: “We realized that this was a tragedy that should never have happened, and we want (Trump) to know that we are going through this with him.”
The FBI has identified Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, as the shooter at the rally. He was killed by the Secret Service after he fired shots during the rally, killing a Buffalo Township man and seriously injuring a Plum man and another from Moon.
