America woke Wednesday morning to news that Donald Trump is heading back to the White House — leaving some ecstatic and others distraught.

Trump’s presidential victory elicited a slew of reactions Wednesday on the social media platform X, owned by billionaire Elon Musk, who went all-in on Trump’s reelection campaign.

Trump supporters are thrilled by the news.

However, the online pulse has been somber for Vice President Kamala Harris supporters.

The hashtag #NotMyPresident is trending on X from Democratic accounts, mimicking the line used by Republicans when President Joe Biden was elected in 2020.

On X, #DoNotConcedeKamala has been trending, too, where people are pleading with Harris to not concede since some votes haven’t been counted. Some are demanding a recount.

“Where is Kamala?” has been trending as well since Harris has yet to publicly address the election outcome.
