Nikki Haley to rally with Dave McCormick in Marshall
U.S. Senate candidate Dave McCormick is scheduled to host a rally Wednesday in Marshall — with a special guest.
The rally is set to start at 7 p.m. at Jergel’s Rhythm Grille, located along Slade Lane in Marshall’s Warrendale neighborhood.
Plans are to have McCormick joined by former U.N. ambassador and presidential candidate Nikki Haley.
Jergel’s website indicates the restaurant and bar will be closed at 6:30 p.m. for a private event.
McCormick has been on stage during multiple rallies with former President Donald Trump, including the Oct. 19 rally at the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport in Unity. He joined Elon Musk in showing support for Trump during a town hall event at the Roxian Theater in McKees Rocks Oct. 20.
McCormick joined a group of Republican lawmakers in calling for Pittsburgh District Judge Xander Orenstein to resign during a news conference Tuesday in Moon.
The conference was held on the Montour Trail, where police arrested 25-year-old homeless man Anthony Quesen and charged him with homicide on Oct. 21.
Authorities say Quesen killed Benjamin Brallier, 44, a civilian employee of the Pennsylvania State Police who was jogging on the trail. Orenstein released Quesen on monetary bail in June 2023 in a simple assault case.
