Pennsylvania on Monday reported 10 more covid-19 deaths and 351 additional cases, bringing the state’s total number of cases to 75,943, according to state health officials.

A total of 5,953 people have died from the virus. More than 451,000 people have tested negative. Of the total cases, 71% have recovered.

Nursing and personal care homes account for 25% of covid-19 cases and almost 69% of the reported deaths.

According to state health officials, 18,974 covid-19 cases have been reported at nursing and personal care homes at 615 facilities in 45 counties. There are 16,167 resident cases and 2,807 employee cases. Close to 4,100 residents have died from the virus.

Approximately 5,742 of the total cases are in health care workers.

As of Monday, all 67 counties were in the yellow or green phase of Gov. Tom Wolf’s phased reopening plan.

“With more than half of the state now in the green phase of the process to reopen, it is essential that we continue to take precautions to protect against covid-19,” Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine said. “Each of us has a responsibility to protect ourselves, our loved ones and others by wearing a mask, maintaining social distancing and washing our hands frequently. Together we can protect our most vulnerable Pennsylvanians, our essential workers and our health care system.”

There are 620 patients who have a positive serology test and either covid-19 symptoms or a high-risk exposure, which are considered probable cases, but not confirmed. There are 451,387 patients who have tested negative to date.
