The PGA Tour is heading back to Mexico for the 2022 Mexico Open at Vidanta.
It’s the inaugural year of the tournament and it will be played at Vidanta Vallarta in Vallarta, Mexico. Without any course history to go off of, it makes for a tough week of golf betting.
The field is headlined by Jon Rahm, Tony Finau and Abraham Ancer — a sign many of the world’s top players are taking the week off.
Rahm currently has the best golf odds to win at +500, well ahead of Ancer, Finau and Gary Woodland, who are tied for second at +2200.
The total purse for the tournament is set at $7.3 million with the winner’s share being $1,314,000.
There are 144 total players in the field with it being cut down to the top 65 and ties after the first two rounds.
