Allegheny County Health Department announces walk-in flu shot clinic in Pittsburgh

The Allegheny County Health Department announced that they will be offering flu vaccines beginning next week at the Immunization Clinic in Downtown Pittsburgh.

The department will administer walk-in flu shots from 9 a.m. till 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, starting Sept. 21. There will be additional evening hours on Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Any Allegheny County resident can get a flu vaccine at the clinic, regardless of health insurance.

Appointments are not required for flu shots.

To receive a flu vaccine, people should bring some form of identification and an insurance card if applicable, officials said. Everyone must wear a face mask.

The Immunization Clinic is located on the fourth floor of the Hartley-Rose Building at 425 First Avenue. The entrance is on Cherry Way.

The walk-in clinic applies to flu shots only. All other vaccinations and services require an appointment. To make an appointment, call 412-578-8062.
