A Wilmerding man is behind bars after police said he sold an undercover officer five bricks of heroin/fentanyl Tuesday in North Huntingdon.

Township police said Quadrikis A. Phillips-Turner, 30, exchanged the drugs for $940 at a Mills Drive location. He is charged with criminal use of a communication facility and drug offenses.

The undercover officer conversed with Phillips-Turner by text message and phone calls to set up the meeting, according to court papers. Police said they converged on the SUV in which he was a passenger after the noon exchange and took him into custody.

Five bricks equals about 250 stamp bags.

Police said they confiscated $350 in addition to the buy money. At Phillips-Turner’s home, authorities reported in court papers finding 75 stamp bags of heroin/fentanyl and crack cocaine.

Phillips-Turner was being held at the Westmoreland County Prison on $250,000 bail. He did not have an attorney listed in online court records. A Feb. 23 preliminary hearing is set.

He is serving 10 years on probation on two Allegheny County drug cases, including one in which he was accused of leading police on a chase, according to court records. Those charges stemmed from incidents in February 2019 and January 2020.
