The Lincoln Highway Experience SupperMarket returned Wednesday evening for its 11th season — a week after the scheduled start was canceled by rain.

The food festivals along Route 30 in Unity are scheduled each Wednesday through Aug. 28 on the museum grounds.

The $5 cost serves as a fundraiser for the museum.

It includes live music by area bands as well as a museum walk-through when possible, according to Spencer Simpson, Lincoln Highway Experience manager of visitor services.

There‘s an additional cost for food purchased from local chefs’ booths. Up to a half-dozen chefs will be represented during any given week.

About 175 people attend the SupperMarket weekly to picnic and enjoy the music, Simpson said, many of them regulars who attend every week.

The museum is at 3435 Route 30 East, on a one-way stretch of the highway just before the Route 217 intersection.
