Murrysville police are asking residents in and around Heritage Estates who have surveillance cameras to check them after several reported thefts and attempted thefts from vehicles.

Police said in a Facebook post that Tuesday footage should be checked from midnight to 3:45 a.m. The incidents were reported on Harvest Drive and Logan Ferry Road.

A video showed the suspect walking around a pickup truck in a home’s driveway. The person appeared to look underneath the vehicle and then walk away.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call police at 724-327-2100.
