A Mercer County man is accused of making dozens of sexually explicit phone calls and sending numerous text messages to his former therapist in Westmoreland County, according to state police.

Dillon Reed Holdren, 24, is charged with stalking, indecent exposure, harassment, open lewdness and disorderly conduct.

Troopers said the therapist reported that on Oct. 18 she started receiving 10 to 40 phone calls a day at her Derry Township home from several different numbers. The person on the line would breathe heavily after she answered, police said.

She blocked the numbers but then received numerous sexually graphic voicemails and text messages, according to court papers. The therapist said she previously counseled the suspect and repeatedly asked him to stop.

Police said Holdren told investigators last month that he was attracted to the woman and sent her inappropriate photographs. Police said Holdren admitted that the contact “was sexual gratification for himself,” according to court papers.

An arraignment hearing is scheduled March 12, with a preliminary hearing set for April 1.
