Still looking for New Year’s plans? Here are five places you can celebrate from today to Monday, Dec. 29 to Jan. 1, in Westmoreland County.
Champagne and dancing at Morelands at Waterworks
The South Greensburg venue Morelands at Waterworks will host a New Year’s Eve party beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31.
The event, which has a $10 cover, will include a midnight buffet, dancing, prizes and $25 bottles of champagne.

Buffet at Sharky’s Café
For $75 per person, guests can enjoy a buffet in their “gowns and suits” at Sharky’s Café in Unity.
The New Year’s Eve celebration will include appetizers, entrées and desserts, as well as music and fun.

Hempfield restaurant IronRock Tap House will kick off the New Year with ’90s hits.
The Clintones, a ’90s tribute band, are set to perform at the restaurant on New Year’s Eve.

Pre-New Year’s celebration at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art
For some early fun this week, the Westmoreland Museum of American Art in Greensburg will host a New Year’s Cheer event today.
Guests can enjoy champagne, sparkling cider, the Winter Lights display, a scavenger hunt and a New Year’s photo op at the free event, which will take place from 5 to 8 p.m.

First Day Hike at King/Potter Nature Reserves
After a celebratory night, what better way to kick off the New Year than to take a nature hike?
The Westmoreland Conservancy will host a First Day Hike at 11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, at the King/Potter Nature Reserves in Murrysville.
Attendees should park at the lot on Crowfoot Road. Registration is available online.
