Latrobe’s Great American Banana Split Celebration promises a sweet weekend

A popular Banana Cream Pie Eating Contest returns to the Great American Banana Split Celebration Aug. 24 from
1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Stage 2 at the celebration in downtown Latrobe. A Latrobe vs. Derry pre-event will feature students from the two high schools facing off in a pie-eating showdown.
