Youngsters in Irwin Borough will have a chance to don their Halloween costumes and go to businesses in downtown Irwin for a trick-or-treat from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, followed by a parade along Main Street.

Registration for the parade will be held 1 to 3 p.m. at the S&T Bank parking lot at Third and Main streets.

Gift bags will be distributed to the first 300 youngsters who register for the parade. Gift prizes will be awarded to the three participants in the parade who are judged to have the best costumes.

The Dancing Witches of Westmoreland County will serve as judges of the costumes.

The borough will hold its Halloween trick-or-treat night from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31.
