The Westmoreland Heritage Trail committee is planning a Trail Towns Festival for June 1 in Trafford and Slickville.

Similar to a trip along the trail itself, the festival will begin at 10 a.m. in Trafford’s B-Y Park, running until 3 p.m. After that, the party will continue from 4-8 p.m. at the VFD Fireman’s Pavilion in Slickville.

Details are being finalized and will be posted at the trail’s website, but the festival will include food, live music, bike demonstrations, children’s events and more.

The committee will host its next meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at the Lamplighter, 6566 William Penn Highway, Salem Township. The public is invited.
