Here are results from several of Tuesday’s contested races in Westmoreland County, according to unofficial vote tallies.

Export district judge

Longtime assistant district attorney Judi Petrush beat out Murrysville attorney Robert Klingensmith in the election for Export district judge, where longtime Judge Charles Conway will retire at the end of the year.

Petrush won more than 53.5% of the vote to Klingensmith’s 46%.

East Huntingdon

In East Huntingdon, Democrat Joel Suter beat out Republican Jonathan Perkey in the race for a six-year seat on the township’s board of supervisors. Suter took just under 54% of the vote with Perkey earning just under 46%.

Mt. Pleasant

In Mt. Pleasant, Republican Duane Hutter beat Democrat Bill Pinskey for a six-year seat on the township board of supervisors. Hutter earned 68% of the vote to Pinskey’s 32%.

Derry Area school board

Donna Showalter, Dean Reed, Daniel Schall, Kevin Liberoni and Dan Lynch won election to the Derry Area school board. Showalter took just under 18% of 12,871 total votes, with Reed, Schall and Liberoni earning just over 17%, and Lynch earning just under 16%.

Belle Vernon Area school board

While all five candidates for four-year school board seats made it through Tuesday’s election, Republican Joshua Pollock beat Stacey Livengood for a two-year seat.

Pollock won more than 55% of the vote to Livengood’s 44%.
