Greensburg Salem is among area school districts entered in a “Friday Night Lights” competition, vying for prize money offered by T-Mobile.
Supporters can help the district’s attempt to claim a $5,000 prize by taking a school spirit photo and posting it on Instagram by Sept. 20.
The post should have the tags: @TMobile and @greensburgsalemschooldistrict. It also should use both of these hashtags: #FN5GL and #Sweepstakes.
Greater Latrobe School District won one of the $5,000 prizes announced on Aug. 30.
Mt. Pleasant Area, Belle Vernon and Derry Area districts also are entered in the contest.
Sixteen semifinalists will each win $25,000. The grand prize includes a $100,000 grant, weight room upgrades and a new scoreboard.
