A man wanted in connection with a home invasion and robbery Tuesday night in Greensburg is in custody.
Police Chief Shawn Denning said Patrick Lee Rosenberry, 29, surrendered after police pinpointed his location and surrounded a residence on Arch Avenue.
Rosenberry is accused of breaking into a home on Alwine Avenue on Tuesday, attacking a man inside, and stealing a safe containing $2,500 in cash and $7,500 in silver coins and gold necklaces, along with other items, according to a criminal complaint.
Rosenberry also is accused of kicking the man inside the home several times, knocking out several of the man’s teeth. He is also accused of threatening to shoot the man with a handgun and hit him in the head with it, the complaint said.
He is charged with burglary, robbery, aggravated assault and terroristic threats, according to court records. He was scheduled for an arraignment at 11:15 a.m. Friday.
Denning said police are looking for a second, as-yet unidentified suspect, as well as anyone who may have harbored Rosenberry.
“We feel confident we’ll be able to ID that second suspect,” Denning said.
