A Greensburg man is accused of sexually assaulting a boy twice in 2007 in exchange for Pokemon cards, according to court papers.

Jared C. Painter, 33, was arrested Monday on charges of rape of a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child and indecent assault of a person younger than 13. He was being held at the Westmoreland County Prison on $20,000 bail.

North Huntingdon police said the accuser, who is now in his 20s, came to them in October to report Painter sexually assaulted him when he was around six to eight years old. Police said the suspect would have been 14 to 16 years old at the time.

Painter is accused of sexually assaulting the boy at a North Huntingdon home, on one occasion in exchange for Pokemon cards, police said. Police said that during a June interview Painter admitted to some of the details provided by his accuser, according to court papers.

He did not have an attorney listed in online court records. A July 20 preliminary hearing is set.
