With 100% of precincts reporting Tuesday, Amy Sheridan cruised with a comfortable lead over all other candidates on the Democratic ballot for Franklin Regional school board with 34% of the vote. She was followed by George App (15%), Deb Bucciero (14.2%), Scott Weinman (13.5%) and Vince Azzolina (11.45%)

On the Republican side of the ballot, seven candidates filed to compete for five four-year seats on the school board. Leading that race was Bucciero (18.5%), followed by John Fallat (16.7%), Weinman (16.4%), Azzolina (15.3%) and Joshua Zebrak (14.1%), the only candidate who was not cross-filed.

In addition, two candidates competing for a two-year seat are headed toward a general election rematch. Incumbent Herb Yinging III earned a comfortable victory on the Democratic ballot with 74% of the vote, while opponent David Murphy received nearly 60% of the votes on the Republican ballot.

Vote totals are unofficial until certified.
