Downtown Greensburg Project revives Vintage Market for 2nd season

The Downtown Greensburg Project will bring back its Vintage Market series for a second season starting Saturday.

The market series will take place about once a month until October at a handful of locations throughout the Greensburg area. Each event will feature a variety of vendors selling vintage and handmade items, as well as plants, food and beverages.

The series drew about 50 vendors for each market last year, featuring vintage clothing, household items and jewelry.

The Saturday market will run from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. inside the Hempfield Athletic Complex, located at 220 Forbes Trail Road in Hempfield. Tickets can be purchased for $5 online via Eventbrite or at the door. Those under 18 years old and college students with a valid student ID will receive free entry.

Outdoor markets are also scheduledat the following locations:

• Greensburg Garden and Civic Center — located at 951 Old Salem Road in Greensburg — 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 4, July 13, Aug. 3, Sept. 7 and Oct. 5.

• Westmoreland Museum of American Art — located at 221 N. Main St. in Greensburg — 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 1.
