The last of the season’s farmers markets, along with an unusual poultry bingo, are on tap for this weekend in Westmoreland County.
Greensburg YMCA Family Fun Night
The Greensburg YMCA is hosting its first in a series of monthly Family Fun Nights from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday in the YMCA gymnasium on South Maple Avenue.
This month’s Fun Night is titled “We are Thankful at the Y.” Activities will include arts and crafts, sports and a bounce house. Admission is $5, or free for members. The facility’s heated pool will be open for families from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Historical society annual meeting
The annual members meeting of the Westmoreland Historical Society will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the education center at Hanna’s Town.
Joanna Moyar, collections manager for the historical society, will present “Inside the Collections — New Donations in 2023.” In a show-and-tell format, Moyar will use images and objects to tell the stories of items that have been donated to the society in 2023. Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.
Guests also will have free admission to the current exhibit “Westmoreland 250! Telling Our Story with 25 Objects.”

Yukon poultry bingo
The Christian Mothers and Ladies of Seven Dolors Parish, Yukon, will host their annual poultry bingo and pie social on Sunday in the church social hall at 102 Center St.
Doors will open at noon, and bingo will begin at 1 p.m. Admission is $10 and includes one board, a piece of pie and coffee. Extra boards will be available for $1. A basket raffle and 50-50 drawing will be held. Additional food will be available for purchase.

Arts opening reception
Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art Ligonier will celebrate the work of local artists in partnership with the Southwestern Pennsylvania Council for the Arts 28th Annual Regional Juried Art Exhibition. On view through Feb. 4, the exhibition will feature work by artists from the 19 southwestern counties of Pennsylvania.
To commemorate the exhibition, the site will host an opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. The reception is open to the public free of charge.
Works will span a variety of media including acrylic, oil, pastel, photography, watercolor, wood and masonry.

Farmers market at All Saints Brewery
The last market of the season will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at All Saints Brewery on the corner of Route 119 North and Rosie Town Road. The market will include farm-direct products and baked goods.
