Want to hang out with friends, family or loved ones this weekend? There’s an event for every social circle this weekend in Westmoreland County.

Wedding show

More than 55 local wedding experts will gather Sunday at Ferrante’s Lake­view on Route 30 in Hempfield for the annual Cavanaugh Brideshow.

Guests will be able to enjoy freebies, vendors, samples and show prices during the event, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Admission is $10 in advance or $12 at the door.

Ligonier Valley Ice Fest

Ligonier Valley Chamber of Commerce’s 33rd annual Ice Fest will begin Friday. The weekend-long event will feature ice sculptures, horse-drawn carriage rides and a spaghetti dinner. Downtown Ligonier shops will be open for guests to visit.

Over 50 ice sculptures made by DiMartino Ice will be put on display. Festivities begin at town hall where people can pay $5 for a horse-drawn sleigh ride from Misty Haven Carriage.

The fire department will be hosting a spaghetti dinner at 11 a.m. on Saturday and will serve food until it runs out. Hanson’s Kettle corn and warm drinks will be available for sale throughout the weekend.

Drag Show and Brunch

Sobel’s Obscure Brewery in Jeannette welcomes Fire House Shows to the Brewery for a Sunday drag show and brunch.

From 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., Miss Fire, Just Peachy, Micah Sanova, Lydia Kollins and Jeannette’s own C’Yasia will perform for the crowd. A $25 general admission ticket includes 2 free drinks. Brunch, provided by Lunch Lady on Wheels, can be bought as an add-on.

Winter wonderland night

On Friday, YMCA Greensburg will be hosting a Winter Wonderland themed Family Fun Night. Starting at 5:30 p.m., guests can make crafts, swim in the warm pool and do other family-friendly activities.

Mean Girls trivia night

With the recent release of the musical version of the pop culture classic “Mean Girls,” Rolling Fields Golf Club in Murrysville will be hosting a themed trivia night on Friday at 6 p.m.
