’50s fun
The fabulous ’50s will live again at The Stroll, set for 5 to 9 p.m. Friday around Diamond Park and surrounding streets in downtown Ligonier.
The annual event includes a classic car cruise, oldies music by DJ Pete, sock hop and merchant sidewalk sales.

Rock all night
“School of Rock” is the theme for the Art on Tap happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, 221 N. Main St., Greensburg.
Music trivia will start at 5:30 p.m. The 21-and-older event also will include an art-as-music-themed scavenger hunt, raffle, snacks and specialty bar featuring music-inspired cocktails, wine and beers from Invisible Man Brewing.
Art on Tap attendees are welcome to leave their vehicle in the museum lot during the SummerSounds concert beginning at 7 p.m. in nearby St. Clair Park.
The weekly concert will host the “psychedelic Americana” band, Slambovian Circus of Dreams.
Art on Tap is $15, or $12 for museum members, with advance registration at 888-718-4253 or thewestmoreland.org. Flat fee at the door is $15.
Break on through
Get a double dose of The Doors this weekend at The Lamp Theatre, 222 Main St., Irwin.
The California-based tribute band Peace Frog has shows at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, playing Doors classics like “Light My Fire,” “L.A. Woman,” “The End” and “Hello, I Love You.” Lead singer Tony Fernandez recreates the vocals, moves and presence of iconic front man Jim Morrison.
Named for a song from the 1970 album, “Morrison Hotel,” the band is celebrating 25 years together, having played across the United States and around the globe.

Party in the park
The sixth annual Concert in the Park will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday in Murrysville Community Park, 4056 Wiestertown Road.
Musical lineup includes Woodland Creatures, 4-4:45 p.m.; Abbots Cross, 5:15-6 p.m.; RML Jazz, 6:30-7 p.m.; and Saddle Up Band, 8 p.m.-dark.
The evening will end with fireworks. Games will be available and food trucks will be on site.
