Frame it yourself
People interested in saving money by framing their artwork can learn to cut and bevel mats during a workshop from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at Greensburg Art Center, 230 Todd School Road, Hempfield.
Artist Eileen Yeager will teach tricks that professional framers use, including the use of a mat cutter.
Participants should bring at least one item about 2 by 4 inches to 6 by 8 inches to mat, such as a drawing, photograph, painting or postcard. They will leave the session with at least one mat cut and possibly more, depending on how quickly they learn.
Fee is $25 for the workshop, plus $10 for materials. Registration is due by today at 412-491-1192, efyeager3@gmail.com or greensburgartcenter.org.

While the long-running tribute act’s current tour focuses on a specific Beatles’ era, the show covers the group’s history from beginning to end, moving chronologically through The Beatles’ greatest hits and most iconic appearances. Costume changes reflect the passing of time.
Tickets are $36-$79. To reserve, call 724-836-8000 or visit thepalacetheatre.org.
