Free improv workshop
Leaders of StoryZ, a nonprofit theater and performance group in Latrobe, is hosting a free improv workshop at 512 Coffee and Ice Cream on Ligonier Street in Latrobe on Saturday at 3 p.m.
Organizers intend to meet with newcomers, add to a network of local creatives and compose original works during the workshop.

Children’s Saturday Studio: Holiday Elf
The Westmoreland Museum of American Art Children’s Saturday Studio is themed “Holiday Elf.” Children will learn to craft a festive holiday elf at 10 a.m. at the museum, 221 N. Main St. in Greensburg.
With the help of an instructor, children will usefelt, yarn and hot glue to create a fluffy elf to decorate the house. The event is open for children ages seven to 10. Admission is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers.

Cocoa Bomb Workshop
On Saturday at 1 p.m. 12th Octave Studios on Pennsylvania Avenue in Greensburg will be hosting a homemade cocoa bomb workshop.
Guests will have an hour and 30 minutes to make three personalized cocoa bombs. Organizers recommend the event for children age 12 and older. Needed supplies are included with the $20 ticket price.

Westmoreland Museum of American Art Holiday Mart
Anyone looking for unique, homemade gifts should be sure to check out the Holiday Mart at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art in Greensburg on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The annual event brings local artisans together to show off and sell their creations. Booths spill out into the lobby and first level of the museum, and visitors have the chance to peruse nearly 20 different artisan stands.
Textiles, paintings, jewelry, children’s books and more will be available for purchase, along with free holiday wrapping.

Christmas by Candlelight: 19th century Christmas
West Overton Village, 109 West Overton Road in East Huntingdon, will be starting its annual Christmas by Candlelight tours on Saturday . Guests will tour the 1838 Overholt Homestead, learning about Christmas traditions and how the Overholts celebrated in the 1800s.
Warm spiced cider and a dessert from the Overholt 1830s kitchen will be provided. The village’s carriage house will feature a historic sleigh. The Educational Distillery will be open for samples, bottle sales and holiday cocktails.
Tours will be offered this Saturday and Sunday and the following weekend.. They will begin each half hour, starting at 4 p.m. and ending at 7:30 p.m.
Admission is $12 for adults and $10 for seniors, teachers, students, children age six and older. Free admission is available for children up to five years, West Overton Village members and SNAP or EBT recipients.
