4 Western Pa. Standard Bank branches consolidating to Dollar Bank branches
Beginning Monday, four Standard Bank locations in Western Pennsylvania will consolidate to nearby Dollar Bank offices.
The affected Standard Bank offices are located on Route 30 in Hempfield, Old William Penn Highway in Murrysville, Forbes Avenue in Pittsburgh and Greentree Road in Green Tree.
They will be consolidated to Dollar Bank locations within four miles of the respective Standard Bank offices, according to Dollar Bank spokesman Frank Buonomo.
Hempfield customers should use the Dollar Bank also on Route 30; Murrysville customers should use the Dollar Bank across the street from Standard Bank; Pittsburgh customers should use the Dollar Bank on Fourth Avenue; and Green Tree customers should use the Dollar Bank on Cochran Road in Mt. Lebanon.
The consolidation comes after Pittsburgh-based Dollar Bank merged with Monroeville-based Standard Bank in 2021.
While Dollar Bank and Standard Bank still operate as separate financial institutions, Dollar Bank serves as the holding company for each institution.
