More closures are coming to Route 28 as PennDOT announced a single-lane closure next week on westbound Route 910 in Harmar.

The closure will start at 6 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, and last until 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9. Motorists still will have access to the northbound Route 28 ramp during the reconstruction work by Swank Construction Co.

The work is part of the $27.68 million highway restoration project on Route 28 between the Harmar/I-76/Route 910 (Exit 11) and Russelton/Creighton (Exit 13) interchanges. Work is expected to conclude by the end of 2023 or early 2024.
