Traffic restrictions are scheduled to start April 10 on River Road in Harrison, the Allegheny County Department of Public Works announced Thursday.

Periodic single-lane closures are scheduled to start at 6 a.m. April 10 and are expected to end in May.

Restrictions will occur between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. weekdays between Mile Lock Lane and Federal Street.

The restrictions are needed for milling and paving as well as installation of guide rail, signage and pavement markings, the department said.

Drivers can expect short stoppages at work zones. Flaggers will control traffic.

A. Folino Construction of Oakmont will do the work as part of a $7.3 million 2022 capital roads contract.
