Bingo to raise funds for youth baseball team

The AIA Miners 12 and Under Youth Baseball team will host a bingo fundraiser March 8 at Manor Township Volunteer Firehall, 167 Bryon St.

Doors open at 4 p.m. and dinner will be served at 4:30 p.m. Early bird bingo will be at 5:30 and regular bingo will begin at 6 p.m. Must be at least 21 years old. BYOB and BYO snacks.

Tickets are $40 in advance and will be $45 at the door and include 11 regular games, five music bingo specials and dinner. Extra packets will be sold.

Free lunch planned at Poke Run Church

Poke Run Presbyterian Church will host its free monthly Soup for the Soul luncheon at noon Wednesday at the church, 1091 Poke Run Church Road.

Friday : Our Lady, Queen of Peace Parish is selling tickets for a Sweetheart cash raffle. The winning numbers will be the 1:30 and 7 p.m. Pennsylvania Lottery Pick-4 numbers on Valentine’s Day.
