Another road in Plum is closing for slide repair. Old Leechburg Road between Sardis and Old Mine roads will close at 8 a.m. Tuesday, PennDOT announced Monday.

The road will be closed continuously through July 21.

Traffic will be detoured using Sardis, Leechburg and New Texas roads.

It is the third road to close recently in Plum for slides to be fixed.

Leechburg Road, near Elicker Road, was closed July 5 and is scheduled to be closed into mid-August. The two-lane road had been restricted to a single, alternating lane with a temporary traffic signal since June 9 when a slide began undermining the road.

New Texas Road was closed between Old Leechburg Road and Rosemary Drive while a slide was fixed there. New Texas Road reopened July 3.
