A portion of Stotler Road in Plum will be closed for three months starting Monday, Allegheny County Public Works announced.

The road will close between Ross Hollow and Old Leechburg roads at 7 a.m.

Crews will be replacing Plum Creek Bridge No. 6, as well as paving and improving drainage and guardrails in the area. The work is expected to cost just more than $600,000.

Construction will require two other short closures of Ross Hollow Road, one from Aug. 27-30 and another that will happen toward the end of the project.

Signs will be posted to direct motorists around the closure.
