Motorists who use Pleasantville Road in Harrison will need to allow extra travel time next week.

PennDOT is scheduled to close a portion of the road at 7 a.m. Monday, depending on the weather.

The project will target landslide repair in the section of the road between Burtner Road and Keystone Street. Crews will work around-the-clock through Thursday to do remediation, shoulder repairs and drainage upgrades.

Pleasantville Road sits behind Allegheny Valley Hospital and connects to Burtner Road near the Exit 15 ramps of Route 28.

Traffic will be detoured along Carlisle Street to Alabama Avenue, to Freeport Road and onto Burtner Road and then back to Pleasantville.
