Lower Burrell police are looking for a man they say robbed a local pharmacy store on Friday afternoon.

The robbery occurred just before 3:45 p.m. at the Walgreens at 108 Greensburg Road, according to a post on the police department’s Facebook page. Police said the man was armed, but did not say with what.

According to police, the suspect, a Caucasian man, entered the Walgreens wearing a light colored hat, dark wraparound sunglasses and a dark T-shirt and pants. He had a tall, thin build and dark hair, possibly in a ponytail, with a mustache and possibly a goatee, police said.

A manager at the store declined to comment on the robbery on Sunday. A Walgreens spokeswoman said the company is working with local authorities and directed any further questions to them. Lower Burrell police didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lower Burrell Police at 724-339-4287 or 911.
