Following the national anthem at 6:50 p.m., the main event will begin at 7. Admission is $5.
The rain date is Sept. 20.
Each September, the festival showcases a night of performances by the marching bands of the Alle-Kiski Valley Band Directors Association, one of the oldest organizations of its kind in the country.
The festival provides an opportunity for the ensembles to share their talents with friends, families and peers from the area. Festival venues rotate on a yearly basis. The 2022 event was at Penn Hills High School.
