The Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania is offering a double header event, combining nature with the partaking of microbrews, later this month.

The event, which runs from 7 to 10 p.m. Nov. 30, starts with an owl prowl at Audubon’s Buffalo Creek Nature Center in Buffalo Township led by an Audubon naturalist. Then it’s on to Cellar Brew Works, also in Buffalo Township.

Saw-whet owls, screech owls, barred owls and great horned owls are all possibilities on the trail for the owl prowl, according to Audubon.

Admission is $10, or $6 for Audubon members. Expenses for food and beverages are not included. To register, visit Audubon’s website.

You might want to dress warm; details are posted on the organization’s website.

The Buffalo Creek Nature Center is at 367 Kepple Road, while the brewery is at 110 South Pike Road #205. If using GPS, both are located in Sarver.
