Lee Hoolahan, a member of the Presbyterian SeniorCare Network team, has received state-level recognition for providing outstanding clinical care to residents.

Hoolahan is a licensed practical nurse at The Willows, a 193-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation community on Hulton Road in Oakmont owned and operated by Presbyterian SeniorCare.

He was one of seven to receive Distinguished Service Awards from LeadingAge PA, a trade association representing more than 400 senior housing, health care and community services across the state.

The awards were presented at the association’s statewide annual conference in May.

A Plum resident, Hoolahan received the Licensed Caregiver of the Year Award, which recognizes a licensed staff member who provides excellent clinical care with professionalism and leadership.

Hoolahan started working at The Willows in 2004.

According to a bio published by LeadingAge PA, Hoolahan ensures residents receive essential medical and physical care, and they seek him as a resource to enjoy the highest quality of life. Residents and their families are touched by his genuine compassion and care.

The LeadingAge PA Distinguished Service awards, established in 1973, encourage members to nominate individuals and organizations that enhance the field of aging services through their involvement, innovation, leadership or advocacy, as well as personal and organizational generosity.

Presbyterian SeniorCare Network serves more than 6,500 older adults through in-home and community-based programs across 11 Western Pennsylvania counties. To learn more, visit SrCare.org.
