Knoch teacher accused of hitting student

Pennsylvania State Police have accused an elementary school teacher in the Knoch School District of striking an 8-year-old student in the face in November.

Troopers plan to charge Knoch Primary School teacher Carly Miller, 35, with simple assault and harassment.

The district said Miller, whose name is no longer listed on the district’s website, is currently suspended.


2 injured in Lincoln Borough crash

Fire crews in Lincoln Borough and Elizabeth Township responded Thursday afternoon to a two-vehicle crash with entrapment near Lovedale Road near Mill Hill.

Two people were taken to local hospitals from the crash that happened about 3:30 p.m., Lincoln Borough Volunteer Fire Company said.

C & D Towing and Recovery Inc. towed the vehicles from the scene.

Crews worked on scene for just more than an hour.
